Create a list of URLs to filter

  1. Log into Google Analytics.
  2. Click on ‘Acquisition’ > ‘Overview’ > ‘Referral’.
  3. Make a list of the ‘Sources’ that look suspicious. For example if there’s a lot of traffic coming from a URL and the ‘Average Session Duration’ is 00:00:00 and the Bounce Rate is 100.00%, chances are it’s spam.

  4. Click on ‘Admin’ > ‘JS Tracking Info’ > ‘Referral Exclusion List’.
  5. Click the ‘Add Referral Exclusion’ button and add your list.

Note: you will need to update your ‘Referral Exclusion List’ on a regular bases depending on how much traffic you get on your website.

How to make a blog post in WordPress

In this tutorial I will show you how to add a blog page to your WordPress website. Follow the steps below.

Create categories for your blog posts

  1. Click on ‘Posts’.
  2. Click on ‘Categories’ under ‘Posts’.
  3. Type in the name of a category of your blog into the ‘Name’ field and then click the ‘Add new category’ button at the bottom of the page.

How to write a blog post

  1. Click the ‘Posts’ option on the right side of the screen.
  2. Click the ‘Add New’ option.
  3. Fill in the title field at the top of the screen.
  4. Type your blog post into the content area. If you don’t understand HTML or CSS, make sure the ‘Visual’ tab over the content field is selected.
  5. Select the category(s) that apply to your blog post under the ‘Categories’ section.
  6. if there are some keywords you’d like search engines to associate with your blog post, but these keywords aren’t mention in your blog, you can enter them in the ‘Tags’ section. Enter 2-7 keywords into the ‘Tags’ field separated by commas when click the ‘Add’ button.
  7. Click the blue ‘Publish’ button in the top right of the screen.

Note: If you want your blog post to show up for a specific keyword phrase(3 words recommended), mention the keyword phrase in the blog post title once and in the content area 2 or 3 times. Your blog posts should be at least 250 minimum.

  1. Log into WordPress.

  3. Click on the product you’d like to edit.
  4. Click the ‘Updated’ button to save your changes.

How to delete a product using WooCommerce

  1. Log into WordPress.
  2. Click on ‘Products’.
  3. Hover over the name of the product you’d like to delete and click the ‘Trash’ link that appears.

Add a product using WooCommerce

Here are the basic steps to adding a product using WooCommerce.

  1. Log into WordPress.
  2. Click on ‘Products’.
  3. Click on the ‘Add Product’ button.
  4. Enter in a product name and long product description.
  5. Enter the short product description in the ‘Product Short Description’ field.
  6. Select the product categories that apply from the ‘Product Categories’ section on the right side of the page.
  7. Upload a product image by clicking on the ‘Set Product image’ link in the ‘Product Image’ section.
  8. Click on the Select the ‘General’ tab in the ‘Product Data’ section and fill in the ‘Regular Price’ field.
  9. Select the ‘Inventory’ tab in the ‘Product Data’ section and check the ‘Manage stock?’ checkbox. Set the ‘StockQty’ field.
  10. Click the ‘Shipping’ tab and input the weight and dimensions of the product.
  11. Click the ‘Advanced’ tab and input any notes you want to automatically send the buyer in the ‘Purchase Notes’ field.
  12. Click the blue ‘Publish’ or ‘Update’ button in the top right corner.
